A woman saw a man panhandling on the street and, taking pity on him, gave him a few dollars. “Thank you,” the homeless man said. “I appreciate your kindness. My life used to be great, but look at me now.”

“What do you mean?” the woman asked.

“Well,” the man answered, “I used to have millions of dollars, spread out in bank accounts all over the world.”

“So what happened?!”

The man sighed. “I forgot my mother’s maiden name.”
