Interesting topic! The same symbolism can mean many things. From surface to deep. It is the power of teaching by symbols, each receives according to what you can receive. So given various interpretations may all be correct.

I add more as symbolism discussed the “veil.” We shared the Temple Pte Montevideo, Uruguay: After we learn all things, we receive all the ordinances, even receive the spirit of promise and allados be good people and valiant in the testimony of Christ, finally, after achieving all things, though, we all need “a hand to come.” Without the grace of Christ that reaches out to us (thanks to Atonement), everything would be in vain.

I really think it is one of the most powerful symbols that we learn. It resembles the speech of King Benjamin.
