This spring has been perhaps the most lovely I can recall…perhaps because winter was especially difficult for me this year. I was sick for two months (sick twice, actually — bronchitis for two months and then a bout of strep), and pushed to my limits emotionally and spiritually as well. I loved reading my dear friend’s post about spring. It’s a perfect Easter post.)

Easter this year means more to me than perhaps it ever has…probably for the very reasons listed above. My need for God has been heightened. My need to know of and hold to tender mercies more poignant — even desperate — than ever.

I wish I could put into words what I’m discovering, but suffice it to say that I know the Atonement is real. Daily bread is real. Tender mercies are real. Spring does come.

Jesus is everything. Life, breath, everything.

If you are experiencing winter, I pray you can feel some Breath sometime soon.

Jesus appears to Mary My Redeemer Lives

Happy Easter.
