The Conference Center has the largest auditorium of its kind in the world and does not have any visible support columns. It seats 21,000 people, has a 7,667-pipe organ, and an additional 900-seat theater.

The LDS Conference Center was completed in 2000 and is home of the semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. General conference, held every April and October, is attended by Church members from all over the world and broadcast in over 90 languages to the millions that cannot attend in person.

Throughout the year, other events are held in the building, including Mormon Tabernacle Choir concerts, Church meetings, and civic events. The building also houses a number of original paintings including the famous Book of Mormon gallery by Arnold Friberg. Learn more about the Conference Center at TempleSquare.com.
