Damage is extensive in Christchurch, New Zealand, from a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that hit Tuesday afternoon. Seismologists are saying today’s earthquake is actually an aftershock of the 7.2 earthquake that struck last September. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is assessing the needs of those impacted by the quake and determining how it can best offer assistance.
