At LDSTech, one of our goals for 2012 is to increase awareness among community members about testing opportunities for Church software. Although many people don't realize it, LDS Account has a Subscriptions tab that has a check box for you to indicate the type of information you want to receive. One of these subscription options includes "Opportunities to beta test or develop Church software."

Thousands of people have selected this option, but so far we haven't been diligently sending e-mails to this group. This will change in 2012. We will send e-mail updates on a regular basis (probably biweekly) to all who have selected this preference. This will constitute the newsletter for LDSTech. The LDSTech newsletter may also contain links to other LDSTech articles.

To subscribe to the LDSTech newsletter (and stay updated about testing opportunities):

1. Go to the LDS Account login page. (If you don't have an LDS Account, click Register on the login page.)
2. Type your LDS Account user name and password in the appropriate fields and click Sign in.
3. Click the Subscriptions tab at the top of the screen.
4. Select the Opportunities to beta test or develop Church software check box.
5. Click Update at the bottom of the screen.
