The next LDSTech broadcast, scheduled for Friday, September 7, at 12:00pm MDT, will focus on the Personal Progress, Duty to God, and LDS Music websites.

You can attend the broadcast either online or in person at the Riverton Office Building. Jeff Hutchings, a quality assurance lead in ICS, will give the broadcast.

Personal Progress and Duty to God

The Personal Progress and Duty to God programs are designed to help youth strengthen their testimonies and overcome the challenges they are facing. Each program has a dedicated website that allows anyone with an LDS Account to participate in these programs. Each website allows the user to create, edit, and save journal entries and experiences as well as track their progress.

Over the last several months, significant changes have been made to these websites, and several new enhancements will be coming in the near future. Jeff Hutchings has been an integral part of those changes and will be walking through the changes and discussing the upcoming upgrades.

Music.lds.org

The current Music website is one of the most visited sections within LDS.org, averaging more than 1.5 million page views a month. The LDS Music website has helpful content to learn how to conduct music and information about the history of the hymns. The main feature of the site is an interactive player that allows users to change the key, tempo, and parts of the hymns. 

Over the last several months, teams have been working to update the music site, improve the interactive player, and enhance the user experience. Jeff Hutchings will be reviewing the new website, discussing the new player, and talking about future changes that will happen after the launch. The following screenshot shows the new music website.

How to Attend

To attend the LDSTech broadcast, go to the LDSTech Broadcast page during the time of the broadcast and click the Watch Now button. If you live or work near Riverton, Utah, you can also come to the Riverton Office Building (ground floor, Zion room) to watch the broadcast in person.

Each broadcast is recorded, so if you miss one, you can re-watch the recording at any time. In fact, if you arrive late to the broadcast, you can rewind the broadcast and play it from the beginning.

Asking Questions
