Barack Obama went to the National Prayer Breakfast today and was a little uncomfortable. He's used to praying in Arabic.

What bothers me is that Obama learned to pray in Arabic as a child while studying the Koran at a Muslim school in Indonesian from 1967 to 1971. Obama's "Fight the Smears" Web site states that "Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian." However, public records in Indonesia list Obama as a Muslim during his early years, and a number of childhood friends claimed to the media Obama was once a mosque-attending Muslim. He says he left that behind and is now a Christian, having been taught by Reverend Wright. So why does he still pray in Arabic? He can recite the Muslim Call to Prayer in Arabic, from memory, with a first-rate accent.

He has every right to believe and pray as he wishes, but what he told the American people during his campaign is that he is a Christian. My concern is whether to believe what he says. If he's trying to sell a false story to the American public, that has me very concerned.
