The pioneers were very creative! Clive and Bonnie Romney, dressed in pioneer clothes, joined Nancy Hanson in studio to discuss various ways that the Mormon Pioneers exercised their creativity in agriculture, music, and recreation. Clive shares a song that he wrote about his grandfather and plays his banjo in studio. As a musician’s wife, Bonnie has learned to be very creative with the family resources. She shares tips and tricks. The dynamic couple also demonstrate their recreations of toys that pioneer children played with (see photos at radio.lds.org). Clive and Bonnie are heavily involved in efforts to help anyone who is interested to learn more about the pioneers. Learning about the hardships our ancestors endured, as well as the uplifting moments, helps us become closer in spirit to our heritage.
