When I got married, my husband asked me for all my keys. He carefully made copies for himself and put them in safe-keeping. He gave me copies of all the keys he had and carefully pointed out where all the extra keys were. Thinking he was a bit compulsive, I finally asked why. He explained that when I locked myself out of things, he wanted to be able to let me in.
