The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has joined four other faiths to file an amicus curiae (Latin for "friend-of-the-court") brief Thursday with the Supreme Court of the United States urges the Court to hear Utah’s same-sex marriage case (Kitchen, et al. v. Herbert, et al.).
