The Community of Christ announced today that Ron Romig, outgoing archivist of the Community of Christ, has been appointed as the new site director of the Kirtland Temple. This means that  we — the entire body of Restoration churches — will retain access to his expertise and his involvement in our history.

Ron is also current president of the Mormon History Association.

Former Kirtland site director Barb Walden is moving to Kentucky with her husband, who has accepted a post with the Kentucky Historical Society.
