I just found some good information in the LDSTech wiki about how to enter callings in MLS (the Church’s Member and Leader Services software used in most Church units).

As the Church begins to provide leaders and members access to Church Web sites and programs, LDSAccount will use the member’s calling found in MLS to identify what access the member should be granted.

If you are a ward/branch or stake/district leader or clerk,  you may want to read the Callings entry in the LDSTech wiki to be sure you are entering member callings correctly.
