BYU in Utah is all abuzz over their new art exhibit and rightly so. Carl Bloch's paintings are considered national treasures in Denmark. Many of these originals will be in Utah for six months. On this sabbath day enjoy learning about Carl Bloch and how he painted the Savior. You may recall that the special Ensign on Jesus Christ featured a Bloch painting on the cover. Click on the thumbnail detail to access a PDF of the Magazine.
If you cannot visit the exhibit be sure and access the panorama art show online and a Church article on Carl Bloch. The Museum has a web site for free ticket reservations, more information as well as a magazine article.
