Mormon.org is now available in 20 languages, which allows 90% of the Internet-using world to see Mormon.org in their native language. If you speak one of these languages, please visit and explore the new site.
The 20 new languages are:
Armenian, Cebuano, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German,
Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Polish, Portuguese,
Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, and Ukranian.
Mormon.org was launched in 2001 to help people get straightforward, honest answers to their questions about the Church through five major sections: Our Faith, Our People, Our Values, Visit Us, and Frequently Asked Questions.
A 2010 redesign allowed members around the world to begin supplying most of those answers via individual profiles. The pre-2010 version of the site still exists in Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Norse, Romanian, and Slovenian and is accessible using the language link in the footer of the Mormon.org page.
Later this month, the English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish versions of Mormon.org will have video portraits featuring members of the Church from countries where those languages are spoken. All other Mormon.org sites feature video portraits subtitled in the applicable language.
Mormon.org also encourages you to create your own profile in your preferred language (or in all languages you speak) and share it with others.
