Last week, I mentioned the celebration of the anniversary of The Family: A Proclamation to the World where bloggers would be writing about the proclamation from September 17-30.

Kathryn Skaggs, author of A Well-Behaved Mormon Woman and @LDSNana on Twitter, has written an article “FPC 9: Nothing Normal About ‘The New Normal’” where she writes about same-sex attraction & same-sex marriage. It’s worth a read. These are very important topics in the Church today, yet I’m amazed that most members don’t understand the issues and have a shallow understanding of the doctrines behind the issues. If you think that homosexuality is about sex, you don’t understand it. It’s all about emotions and relationships.
