Beginning Sunday, March 3, the History channel will begin airing a miniseries The Bible, a powerful telling of stories from the scriptures that mixes live action with state-of-the-art computer-generated imagery. Check your local TV listings for viewing information.
You can see trailers at BibleSeries.tv or on their YouTube channel (youtube.com/BibleSeries).
The Bible is produced by husband-and-wife team Roma Downey (Touched by an Angel) and Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Voice).
They have also released The Bible App for iPhone/iPad, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, Windows 8, HP/Palm, Java, Symbian, Mobile Web, and Kindle Fire.
