I was studying Ruth and I happened upon a Sperry Symposium video from 2009 of Kerry M. Muhlestein's presentation "Ruth, Redemption, Covenant, and Christ: Ruth's Teachings About Our Relationship with Christ and His Redemption of Us."

He explains the cultural practices and then shows how it all comes together to teach us about Christ's love and role as redeemer and how Naomi, Ruth, and Boaz show us how to create a little bit of Zion.
The video is 50 minutes long and totally worth it. Go watch!
