The new webcast Up Close and Mormon (UpCloseAndMormon.com) illuminates “Mormon-escence, the ordinary, extraordinary lives and faith of LDS followers of Jesus Christ.”
The website includes webcasts (videos) about who we are and who we are not as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It includes interviews with personalities, live events, conversion stories, and discussions about perceptions and misperceptions about Latter-day Saints.
I especially enjoyed the interviews with Clayton Christensen and Brad Wilcox and the Ravel Unravel videos clips that explain Mormon beliefs.
The interviews are hosted by Karen Trifiletti, a Philadelphia-born, second generation Italian, who describes herself as a “perfectly imperfect but graced follower of Christ.” Karen is a 1980-convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, mother of two, a writer, and a business professional.
