The Joseph Smith Papers website (JosephSmithPapers.org) has added over 200 documents.
- Almost 200 documents dating from 1839, including land sales for what would become Nauvoo, Illinois.
- Transcript of the 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon.
- Images for the Draft Notes to the Manuscript History of the Church.
- Transcript for the Grammar and Alphabet of the Egyptian Language.
- Images and transcripts of the four issues of the church newspaper Elders’ Journal.
- Two new finding aids: The Gold Plates and the Translation of the Book of Mormon and Publishing the Revelations.
- New and updated reference material, including source citations for 22 biographical descriptions and 10 new and updated glossary entries.
Also recently added are histories Joseph Smith assigned to be written, as published in Histories, Volume 2 and early-published versions of revelations found in Revelations and Translations, Volume 2.
In the coming months, more documents from the Documents, Journals, Histories, Revelations and Translations, Legal and Business Records, and Administrative Records series will be added. Eventually the website will contain images and transcripts of all extant and available Joseph Smith papers.
