The Church has just provided a new section of LDS.org about Safety and Health at safety.lds.org.
The site includes the following sections:
- Safety in Church Activities. The First Presidency lists safety guidelines for planning Church activities.
- Activities—Policies and Guidelines. Activities should include appropriate training and proper supervision.
- Fact Sheets. A collection of Church guidelines related to safety.
- Training and Video Resources. Visit the Safety and Health Media Library to find helpful resources to reinforce safety.
- Resources and Forms. A collection of online tools to plan and conduct safe activities. Includes meetinghouse posters.
- Scouting Materials. A collection of Scouting resources to help you plan and conduct safe activities.
The Fact Sheets have very helpful safety guidelines on various topics that are useful in church settings, but also helpful to families in general.
