This photo shows the Salt Lake Temple under construction in the late 1880s. I like the view of the multiple derricks used for swinging blocks of stone into place on the walls. The temple at this point was just a shell without interior walls or floors. You can also see Orson Pratt’s observatory in the nearest corner of the Temple Block wall.
