An updated version of Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) is now available for use by members of ward and stake councils. Below is a list of new or enhanced functionality.
Membership Related
- Ordinance recording:
- Added the ability for ward leaders to record and edit the baptism and confirmation for children who are members of record.
- Added the ability for ward leaders to record a member as “Not Accountable.”
- Added the ability for ward leaders to record and edit Aaronic Priesthood ordinations.
- Added the ability for ward leaders to electronically submit Melchizedek Priesthood ordination recommendations to the stake. With the transition of this functionality from MLS to LCR, ward leaders can no longer record or edit Melchizedek Priesthood ordinations.
- Added the ability for stake leaders to record and edit Melchizedek Priesthood ordinations.
- Added the ability to generate and print record forms for the following ordinances: baptism and confirmation, Aaronic Priesthood ordination, and Melchizedek Priesthood ordination.
- Added the ability to generate and print certificates for the following events: child blessing, baptism and confirmation, Primary advancement, deacon ordination, teacher ordination, priest ordination, elder ordination, and high priest ordination.
- Added the ability for stake presidents to request that an annotation be placed or removed.
- Enhanced the recording of callings and home and visiting teaching assignments to prevent members with selected annotations from receiving certain callings and home and visiting teaching assignments.
- Added the ability for bishops and stake presidents to view missionary My Plan documents.
- Added the ability to print limited-use temple recommends for baptisms.
- Added the ability to print a recommend for individuals participating in or witnessing a sealing.
- Home and visiting teaching improvements:
- Added a Home and Visiting Teachers report that allows ward leaders to view all households in the ward along with their home and visiting teachers.
- Added a Home Teaching tab to the Young Men organization page, with assignment information for ordained teachers and priests.
- Added the ability for elders quorum and high priests group leaders to edit each other’s data.
- Made it easier to view prior months when recording visits.
- Added the ability for stake leaders to view stake totals for statistics.
- Made it easier to move households between the elders quorum and high priests group.
- Moved the filters to the top of the page.
- Other:
- Moved the print icon on the member profile page to the top right corner for greater visibility.
- Added an Actions button to the member profile page to allow ward leaders to place a move restriction or move the record out. Additional actions may be added in a future release.
- Enhanced the Unit Settings page so that stake leaders can edit unit abbreviations for the units in their stake.
- Enhanced the Ward Leadership page so that stake leaders can record a bishop without having to open the Ward Organization page.
- Ward auxiliary presidencies can now view member details on the Unit Statistics and Quarterly Report pages.
- Updated the Access Table to reflect new callings and functionality.
- Enhanced the Full-Time Missionaries page by adding a tab for returned missionaries.
Issues Resolved
- Fixed issues affecting the delivery of some messages sent using the Send a Message application.
- Fixed translations for Spanish and Portuguese on the Officers Sustained form.
- Fixed an issue causing the child organization to be listed on the Members with Callings page instead of the parent organization.
- Fixed an issue causing formatting problems with the LCR menu in Internet Explorer.
- Fixed an issue preventing temple recommend status from showing for certain members.
- Fixed an issue preventing prospective elders from appearing on certain reports when assigned to an Aaronic Priesthood quorum.
- Fixed an issue causing spouses to be grouped incorrectly on the Potential Missionary Couples section of the Bishopric Action and Interview List.
