In January I wrote about the book Saints at Devil’s Gate: Landscapes along the Mormon Trail. The book has 52 beautiful landscape paintings illustrating the trail of the Mormon pioneers with quotations from the pioneers who made the journey. The paintings and quotes together help you understand the pioneer story through their eyes.
