family-magazines

The First Presidency has encouraged ward and branch leaders to help members access print or digital magazine content from the Church in the following ways:

  • Offer Magazines to Newly Baptized Members. After new members are baptized, show them how to access Church magazines on the Gospel Library app or online. If they prefer a print magazine, give new members a free one-year subscription using unit funds.
  • Provide Magazines to Youth and Children. Provide subscriptions free of charge, using unit funds, to all children and youth who attend church without a parent or guardian. Be sensitive to individual and family circumstances when determining how best to distribute the magazines.
  • Ensure That All Members Have Access to Church Magazines. Call a magazine representative or assign an executive secretary or clerk to help ensure that all members are aware of and can access Church magazines. Give special attention to members who need help subscribing or finding digital content.

Church magazines can help members learn the gospel of Jesus Christ, study the teachings of living prophets, feel connected to the global Church family, face challenges with faith, and draw closer to God.

How to Order Magazines

Subscriptions for the printed magazines are available online at store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, by calling the Global Services Department, and by visiting a distribution center. In some areas, units order on behalf of their members and distribute magazines at their meetinghouses.

Magazine articles can be accessed digitally for free online and in the Gospel Library app.
