Elder Jack N. Gerard of the Quorum of the Seventy had a discussion about overcoming prejudice with Rev. Amos C. Brown of the Third Baptist Church of San Francisco.
Latter-day Saint leaders, including President Russell M. Nelson, have worked with Rev. Brown and others of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to promote civility and collaborate on educational and humanitarian projects.
