In General Conference today, President Dallin H. Oaks reported that in the year 2022, the Church donated over $906 million to humanitarian causes, plus six million hours of labor donated by members, plus untold donations of money, time, and goods individually by members.
Below are a few examples of recent donations in just the last month:
- On September 14,the Church gave $32 million to the United Nations World Food Programme.
- On September 21,the Church announced a $5 million donation to UNICEF to help fight global malnutrition among children under age 5 in up to 24 countries.
