Elder Ulisses Soares, of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles; President Emily Belle Freeman, Young Women General President; and President Steven J. Lund, Young Men General President, will address the youth in a worldwide broadcast on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
In this “Celebration of Light” broadcast, Elder Soares and the Young Women and Young Men General Presidents will teach youth worldwide about being a disciple of Jesus Christ, focusing on the 2024 youth theme: “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.”
How to Watch
Youth and youth leaders are encouraged to view a short, prerecorded broadcast together on October 27 or on another date that will allow as many youth as possible to attend. After viewing the broadcast, youth are invited to participate in a youth-led gathering to share their testimonies of one thing they have learned about Jesus Christ this year. As youth gather locally and share their experiences with each other, their testimonies of the Savior will fill the world.
The broadcast will be available for download in the Gospel Library and the Media Library beginning October 24, 2024. Streaming will be available beginning October 27, 2024, at broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, YouTube, Gospel Library, Facebook Live, Instagram Live, BYUtv, Gospel Stream, and Gospel Media.
