Beginning in January 2025, seminary classes now include new Life Preparation lessons. These additional lessons help students draw on the power of Jesus Christ in all aspects of life while maintaining a foundation in scripture and an alignment with the Come, Follow Me gospel study resource.

The lessons will help students handle challenging life circumstances, fulfill their divine identity and potential, become self-reliant and emotionally resilient, develop healthy habits, succeed in school, pursue additional education, prepare for missionary service, and make and keep covenants in the temple.

These Life Preparation lessons have already been available in some released-time programs, but are now available globally.

The new lessons were announced by Elder Clark G. Gilbert, Church Commissioner of Education, in a broadcast to seminary teachers.
