Carry-On_young-women

The first extended scholarly history of the Latter-day Saint Young Women organization is now available from the Church Historian’s Press. The book Carry On: The Latter-day Saint Young Women Organization, 1870–2024 addresses and contextualizes the place of young women within the organization of the Church, tracing the growth of Young Women from a small group of Brigham Young’s daughters into today’s global organization.

This book joins the Church History department’s growing body of work on the Relief Society and the diaries and sermons of women over time.

The book is available to read online on the Church website. You can also purchase printed copies at Deseret BookAmazon, and other retail outlets. You can also get the Kindle version.
