The Church has published routine updates to the General Handbook and also a new AI-powered search assistant to help you find answers in the handbook.
Search Assistant
Once you sign in with your Church account, you will see the search assistant button at the bottom right of the screen when viewing General Handbook content. The search assistant is available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
This search assistant can analyze your questions and summarize the relevant information from the handbook. Because generative artificial intelligence can sometimes give an incorrect answer, you should always click the link it provides to the relevant sections of the handbook to verify the answer.

The handbook is updated twice a year. See a summary of the most recent updates on the “Summary of Recent Updates” page.
