This Easter, April 20, 2025, the Church encourages us to invite our friends to attend Church with us as we focus on the “greater love” of Jesus Christ.
What Can You Do
- Personally invite your friends to attend Church with you. On Easter Sunday, sacrament meeting is the only meeting held (see General Handbook, 29.2.9).
- Use pass-along cards to leave with your friends to remind them of the meeting time. You can order pass-along cards from local printers.
- Share your testimony of Jesus Christ and the blessings of His Resurrection on social media using the hashtag #GreaterLove. The Church provides Easter images you can use. Link people to the Church’s Easter page.
- Enjoy Easter activities with your children.
What Can Leaders Do
- Plan a special Christ-focused service that celebrates His Resurrection and helps all who attend to feel welcomed and loved.
- Download templates for banners and signs, or conveniently order signs from local printers, including window clings and yard signs for the Church grounds and even member homes. (See the Guidelines for Displaying Signs Outside Church Meetinghouses.)
- Publish your Easter Sunday worship services and other Easter ward activities using the Activity Sharing tool (where available).
Other Ways to Enjoy Easter
- Study about the Savior’s love using the Holy Week study guide.
- Watch the Easter Sunday special episode of “Music and the Spoken Word.”
- Enjoy Easter music and video playlists on the Church’s YouTube, Strive to Be, and Gospel Stream channels.
- Watch a video by President Oaks Reflecting on Christ’s Sacrifice and Resurrection.
