Knowing when to pause and step away from technology can be a powerful habit that helps us take charge of our technology use.

Here are some thoughts to consider and discuss with your family.

    • Pause and choose something better. Talk about situations when it’s helpful to turn off devices or silence notifications and find something else to do.
    • Connect with someone. Encourage your family to talk to friends and family members face-to-face.
    • Promote breaks. Schedule breaks to help us feel better and stay in control.
    • Listen for the Holy Ghost. He can help guide and warn us as we make decisions about what to view.
