They perform some of of the countless tasks that thousands of employees and volunteers on various teams perform every six months to ensure the worldwide general conference is executed successfully.

This video offers a high-level sneak peek at the work and dedication of the team that produces the broadcast of general conference. For almost five months prior to each session of General Conference, a team meticulously plans every detail to ensure that the broadcast runs smoothly. Broadcasting general conference has been a labor of love for over 100 years with a goal to reach every heart and home. It involves managing a large team of professionals responsible for lighting, audio, photography, and other areas. The management and production every six months is a cornerstone of discipleship for members of the team, and this team makes sure that every member can focus on what the message is and what’s being delivered.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gather every six months, thousands of people work tirelessly behind the scenes to make general conference a success. Some are Church employees, and others are unpaid volunteers. Still, each plays a crucial role in carrying the general conference messages to hearts and homes worldwide.

With more than 100,000 in-person guests attending the two days of general conference, and millions watching the live broadcast of the event worldwide, countless things need to go right to create the deeply spiritual and memorable experience that general conference brings.
