uncharted

This week’s movie pick is Uncharted. (See other “Weekend Movie Picks.”)

In this movie, a young street-smart kid (played by Tom Holland) and his wisecracking partner (played by Mark Wahlberg) embark on a dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to his long-lost brother. The movie has the feel of Indiana Jones or National Treasure.

It is rated PG-13 for intense action scenes, which are mostly stylized and not excessively gory. It also has PG-13-level profanity, which you can filter out if you watch it on VidAngel. This is a good example of an enjoyable movie if you filter out the language. It is also available unfiltered at Prime Video.
