On November 3, 2010, the First Presidency announced the new Thai triple combination. Thai-language units should have received an announcement letter, sample of the scriptures, and related items (revised Articles of Faith, revised sacrament prayer cards, and promotional items). An article explaining the features and benefits of the new Thai triple combination will be published in an upcoming issue of the Thai Liahona.
The electronic text of the Thai LDS scriptures is now online on the Church’s scriptures website (see scriptures.lds.org/tha).
You can also find a link to these online scriptures on the individual LDS.org language materials pages. The online scriptures includes the text of the triple combination (the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price) with footnotes, study helps, maps, photographs, and the ability to mark scriptures. It also includes the Guide to the Scriptures, an alphabetical listing of gospel topics.
This brings the total number of languages on the Church’s scriptures Web site to 20: Cebuano, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, and Tongan.
Additional scripture translations will continue to be published online over the next few years.
