The Leadership Training Library is now available on LDS.org. It includes brief training videos and recorded messages that illustrate basic principles and practices from Handbook 2: Administering the Church.
These video resources may be used by individual leaders or may be downloaded and shown in ward and stake councils as well as priesthood and auxiliary leadership meetings. All of the videos are principle-based, making them ideal for training, counsel, and discussion.
The resources in the library were designed for leaders and teachers who have responsibilities in the following categories: bishopric, high priests, elders quorum, Aaronic Priesthood, Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, Sunday School, ward missionary work, and young single adults. You can also browse training on principles such as perparing spiritually, participating in councils, ministering to others, and teaching the gospel.
When you first access the library, you can watch an introductory video, as well as a tutorial on how to use the library.
The library is available now in English. Early in 2012, portions of the library will also be provided in Cantonese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. This is intended to be a long-term library where new training material will be added over time.
To access the library from the LDS.org menu, click Service, then Leadership Training Library or go directly to leadershiplibrary.lds.org. Once you’re in the library, you can no longer click on the Church logo to return to LDS.org. You’ll need to go to the footer of the page and click the word LDS.org to return.
