To help members with disabilities and their families participate more fully in Church meetings and activities, LDS.org has a section on Disability Resources at Disabilities.lds.org.

The section is now available in nine additional languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

The section on disabilities provides:

  • A resource for priesthood and auxiliary leaders, teachers, families, and caregivers of those with mental and physical disabilities.
  • An understanding of the challenges and difficulties faced by those with disabilities.
  • Pages on specific disabilities and answers to frequently asked questions.
  • Comfort to members with disabilities and their families through scriptures, quotes, and support links.
  • Listings resources.

Learn more about the value of this site in the article “Church’s Disabilities Website Released in Nine Additional Languages” in Church News and Events (news.lds.org).

Information for disability specialists in wards and stakes can be found on LDS.org under Serving in the Church, then select Other Callings, then Disability Specialist.
