There is a new activity in The Vineyard. (Vineyard.lds.org provides online activities you can do in a few minutes to help the Church.)

The Vineyard gives you step-by-step instructions on how to post a review of your local LDS meetinghouse in Google Local. The whole activity should take 2-3 minutes to locate your chapel on the map, select a rating, and write a brief review to comment about your experience at church and explain why someone else may enjoy attending.

Google Local adds details to Google Maps for businesses, churches, and other organizations, such as business hours, services offered, and even reviews by people who have used the business or organization. Then that information is available to people when they search on Google Local. (Here’s more information about Google Local.)

To do this activity, you’ll need a Google+ Account and an LDS Account.
