An excellent resource for individual and family gospel study are the basic doctrinal principles that are the core of the youth Sunday classes.

Each principle has basic doctrinal statements and scripture references.

You can study each principle further by referring to the lessons about each topic in the Come, Follow Me: Learning Resources. These teaching resources are updated after each general conference to reflect the most recent teachings from the General Authorities and General Officers of the Church.

Each month during 2013, I wrote articles about the current month’s doctrinal principle and gave ideas for additional resources.

These topics would also make great lessons for Family Home Evening.
