LDS General conference gives us an opportunity to learn from living prophets, listen to the Spirit, and receive answers to personal questions.
LDS.org has published a list of example questions and inspired answers given during general conference, such as those listed below:
- How can I have courage to live the gospel in today’s world?
- How do I keep the Spirit with me in spite of my imperfections?
- What should I do if I feel like something is lacking in my Church experience?
- What kind of value do I have as a woman in the Church?
- How can I trust that Church leaders are called of God when they seem to have made mistakes?
- Why doesn’t the Lord call younger, healthier men as His prophets and apostles?
- Why do I need organized religion when I can just be spiritual on my own?
- How can I find answers to questions or concerns I have about the Church, such as questions about Joseph Smith?
- What’s something I can do to strengthen my family on the Sabbath?
- How can I better trust in God’s plan for me?
- What are some of the ways I can find more joy?
- I’ve sinned so much. Is it really possible for me to be forgiven?
See the page “Answers to Personal Questions” on the general conference website to see what answers people found to these questions.
