HOW do we put on truth, righteousness, preparations of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Spirit?

Spiritual Protection | How to put it on |
Truth | Study the gospel in the scriptures every day |
Righteousness | Practice choosing the right in all cases |
Preparation of the gospel of peace | Consistent good choices and preparing for our responsibilities |
Faith | Trust in God and using our agency to take positive action |
Salvation | Repent every day |
Spirit | Pray to have the Spirit, keep the commandments, and remember Christ always |
Each one of those things can be done every. single. day.
It’s so simple and beautiful. I think I just forget the simplicity and effectiveness of it, and I have to be reminded. I think Paul’s metaphor of armor is very helpful in illustrating how important and powerful those simple daily practices are.
