In a blog post on LDS.org, President Russell M. Nelson reported that he has completed the same assignment he gave to young adults in January. His challenge was to study everything Jesus said and did as recorded in the Old and New Testaments, the Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants.

92-year-old Russell M. Nelson, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, reported that in six weeks, he had looked up and marked more than 2,200 citations from the four books of scripture. He explains how this assignment helped him receive a greater testimony of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that the translation of the Book of Mormon was a gift from God.

Imagine that the President of the Quorum of the Twelve—the next man in line to become the prophet—received an additional testimony through this six-week study.
