On the sweetness . . .

Your young son wanted to show his Christmas spirit at church.  He wore scuffed brown cowboy boots, dark blue Dickey’s work pants, a red dress shirt, a shiny red clip on tie, a charcoal pinstriped suit jacket, and a rumpled straw fedora.  The combination somehow projected a sense of finery.

Your young daughter kept caroling, “Deck the halls with boughs of holly, falalalala the newborn king.”
