Recently, an article was published in The Interpreter by Bruce Dale and Brian Dale, that uses Bayesian analysis to explore correspondences between The Book of Mormon and Michael Coe’s book on ancient Mesoamerica, and likelihood that Joseph Smith guessed those correspondences.
