Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from nature.

No evidence of alien species because most advanced species correctly intuit that information is pollution, and cease communicating in patterns.  Their language approaches static, their architecture approaches nature.

(Maybe Brother Joseph isn’t talking about violence vs. nonviolence just like that.  Instead maybe artificial compulsion versus natural legitimacy.  Seeing all strong authority as a form of compulsion sounds like something that came out of the 1700s.  Maybe).

The fractal world.

I have an old truth dressed up in a new way. Maybe its just an old truth dressed up in an old way.

God has given us a world perfectly designed to sustain us while giving us maximum scope for our own action.  We act and create means of altering the parameters of the world–we call that technology–and it is perfectly right that we do so.    Altering the parameters is action, its how we grow.

As we grow more and more advanced we realize our children need their own scope for growth and so within the nature that God has given us our ultimate destiny is to recreate nature for our children.  Within the nature we recreate, they will recreate their own for their children.
