The Church News recently published four charts that show the growth of the Church in four areas:
- Membership. The chart above shows the continual growth of the Church from 1830 to 2023. There were 17,255,394 members at the end of 2023.
- Wards and branches. There were 31,490 wards and branches at the end of 2023.
- Stakes. There were 3,565 stakes at the end of 2023.
- Temples. There were 186 dedicated temples at the end of 2023.
