The First Presidency has approved an option that allows members to have a mobile digital temple recommend using the Member Tools app.

Members with current temple recommends may choose to keep their printed recommend or switch immediately to a mobile temple recommend. As members renew their temple recommends, they will have the opportunity to choose between a paper or mobile recommend. Members can have either the paper or mobile recommend, but not both.

Mobile temple recommends are available immediately in the North America West, North America Southwest, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, South America Northwest, South America South, and Brazil Areas. All other areas will have access to mobile temple recommends over the next two to three weeks. Area and local leaders will be notified as mobile recommends become available to their areas.
