The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has just launched the first standardized newsroom site. The site at saladeprensamormona.org.mx will serve the country of Mexico, where 1.23 million of the Church’s 14 million members live.

Although many of the Latter-day Saint country websites have a newsroom section associated with them, the Mexico Newsroom is the first of several Newsroom websites to roll out in the coming months in a format similar to the worldwide Newsroom at newsroom.lds.org.

The Church’s Newsroom sites serve as official resources for news media, opinion leaders, and the public. News for members can be found on the Church News and Events website at news.lds.org
