Joseph Land, 66, of Manassa, Colorado, baptized in Mississippi 1880, emigrated to Colorado 1883, and went to the Salt Lake Temple 1906. He served in a branch presidency in Mississippi, baptized many neighbors, and hosted traveling elders; superintended the first Sunday School in Manassa 1906. Joseph died of influenza 10 Oct 1918, leaving six living children.
